I doubt there would be any risk of fire, or any other problem really. Maybe just figuring out how to mount the gun without interfering with the lines?

 

Oxygen doesn't burn. It won't explode. It is a catalyst. Oxygen is one of 3 components needed for fire. A higher oxygen concentration will increase the intensity of the fire.

No it isn’t. A catalyst promotes/causes a reaction but isn’t effected by the reaction. It is an oxidizer. It “burns” carbon compounds in the cells and changes them into useful energy and carbon dioxide.

Oxygen is not flammable, it is used to enhance flame. This is more of a concern in confined and enclosed spaces, where your clothing or flammable debris may have become oxygen saturated due to a leak. Being outside and at the volume and pressure you use should be no problem.

 

I have an Oxygo G3 and a back pack. I haven't shot with it yet, but I have played golf with it. It's a pulse unit , so you only get oxygen when you take a breath. They are not cheap, but mine works just fine, set on 2 or 3 depending on the temp and humidity.

 

Have shot with a couple that have back packs.And a nice guy sitting on a stool and a guy in an electric wheel chair.

Are you talking about a tank oxygen or one of those portable battery powered ones?

It is a pain in the butt but it isn’t dangerous. Unless you smoke. I use 6lpm at rest and up to 10lpm with activities. So I carry liquid oxygen dewar around all the time. It is heavy. My lung condition makes the heavy part even worse so I have to take things slower than other folks. But it doesn’t hamper my shooting per se.
