Can the Beretta gel cheek pad be cut so I don’t end up with a piece of it increasing cast and pushing my face away from the stock? I’ve read if you cut it the silicone type fluid inside will ooze out, rendering the pad useless. Is that true?
You might want to do more research on that. I have seen quite a few reports of the Beretta pad leaving damaged finishes. The CheekEez is the best IMO. Easy to remove, no finish damage. The Meadow Industries works good also, but it's a PITA to remove.Guys, thanks for all the answers. I looked into the Beretta pad because I don’t want the finish on my stock damaged if I chose to eventually remove the pad.
smokintom, is that pad very difficult to remove safely?
