Can the Beretta gel cheek pad be cut so I don’t end up with a piece of it increasing cast and pushing my face away from the stock? I’ve read if you cut it the silicone type fluid inside will ooze out, rendering the pad useless. Is that true?

Guys, thanks for all the answers. I looked into the Beretta pad because I don’t want the finish on my stock damaged if I chose to eventually remove the pad.
smokintom, is that pad very difficult to remove safely?
You might want to do more research on that. I have seen quite a few reports of the Beretta pad leaving damaged finishes. The CheekEez is the best IMO. Easy to remove, no finish damage. The Meadow Industries works good also, but it's a PITA to remove.

I had a cheek eez on a old BT. I am pretty sure you could cut that to size with zero issue. Mine started to crumble after a few years of heavy use. A quick wipe with a paper towel full of light fluid got rid of the rest. That said I would personally have a hard time sticking one a nice piece of wood

I tried trimming Beretta cheek pads to do what you asked. Nothing ran out. It is a solid pad. But...it sure did not work for me. The pad did not stick well after trimming. I could not get it trimmed to do what I wanted. And it looked like my dog did the work. I was so stubborn I tried it twice on different guns. No joy. I put on an adjustable comb on both guns and have been happy with that addition. Beretta just has a bit too much drop for me.
