Thanks for the reply wadhopper I only asked because over the past few weeks I've been hearing the argument of what's cheaper reloading or buying new shells. Also I haven't seen factory shells this cheap in years

 

They seem to work well for me. I hope to buy more this weekend.

 

No complaints with the first flat. I ended up with 6 flats in total.

A guy on my squad broke 99 with them yesterday. Appeared he was getting nice breaks.

'Tis the season...and ammo's at a surplus. Supply and demand. I've read some manufacturers believed Hillary was going to win and ramped up production. I believe ammo and firearms will continue to come down with Trump in office....just a hunch though, some know for sure, I don't

 

Just another in the long list of cheap, promo loads. IMO, one is as good as another.

As with most things in life, you get EXACTLY what you pay for.

 

I got a couple of flats of these for Helice. Nice shell, no FTF and they hit them plastic birds hard. Recoil is about the same as a heavy 1 1/8oz handicap shell.

 

The ones I got from wallmart say 3 Dram on the box and 3 1/4 on the shells

I love these promo loads - I buy the hell out of the 1-1/8 1200 fps loads - I just got 7 flats of AA's or I would be all over these.

 

4.74 here in western ny. Tried some last week for the second shot in doubles. I didn't think the recoil was bad at all and it crushed the birds. Planning on buying more for the local league I'll be shooting.

 

I got some for $4.99 per box. Shot them over the weekend and found to be great.

 

I checked with Federal and they confirmed that box is incorrect at 3 dram . The stamp on the shell is correct at 3 1/4 dram (1290fps)

 

these shells are ok for what they were meant for ,doves don't need a lot of shot ,recoil is ok but after 100 at trap you start to notice the recoil ,shoot smart and shoot well.

 

I bought a bunch of these last year when I visited Montana (No Sales Tax). They were under 5 dollars a box for 3 - 1 1/8 - 7 1/2's and I still have a couple of flats yet. I like them for trap.
