I've still got one of the camo pattern coats like the one you posted. I'm 6' 2" and 210 and it's a 2x and to big. I wear a size 48 suit coat if that helps.

 

I’m not quite 6 ft tall and about 205 I still shoot in that exact coat in a large. I like it to fit a little snug so it doesn’t catch on my stock.

 

Jee whiz, I still can't believe I(older brother), am now smaller than my little brother...205 vs 165

 

A Bob Allen Cold Weather coat (as shown) should fit well in size Large, unless you want to wear heavy layers underneath. I have one as shown in size Large; PM if interested.

Wally, keep an eye on e-bay for these. They are always on there.

 

If I ever quit growing I’d like to have a John Storm coat next I think.

Hello guys, I had a Bob Allen insulated shooting jacket many years ago
( dont know where it went) and don’t remember what size it was but it seemed to big for me at the time. I usually wear XL shirts and jackets but I am not sure what size Bob Allen jacket to buy- will a Large be better than an XL ? I am 6’ tall and 210lbs.Obviously will be looking to purchase a used one on Ebay or somewhere.Picture is for reference

I have that exact jacket in size XL. I am 6 foot tall and now weigh 205lbs. Fits perfect. And I do not like anything fitting snuggly… or tight.
