I got mine from U-Line. Had to buy a minimum but there good boxes. I've been cutting up some of the extra ones for packing.

 

Check with some of your local garage-business FFLs. They are usually overflowing with gun boxes from inbound shipments.

 

Shops that sell archery products usually have box boxes that they throw away, I know a local store rather close to me throws away lots of them.

 

U-Line dimensions are like 52L x 8W x 4H. This will fit a hard case and most shotguns.

The problem is the minimum and there's no getting around their shipping. It's the cheapest game in the nation if you ask me, Amazon isn't much better.

If you pay $3-$5 for a box, that's the sweet spot.

Also, if you have a music store in your town you may want to check with them for guitar boxes. I had to ship my combo recently and the hard case fit just about perfectly in a Martin guitar box (and they make those pretty solid). Good luck.

 

If you buy a tico tool from Amazon, it will ship in a heavy gauge cardboard box big enough to fit a 34” negrini case in it
