That’s pretty cool. I’ve seen one or two of those over the years. I guess after a few hundred you might get the hang of it, if you still have arms left. As the video progressed, “wait for the end”, I was thinking, oh boy, an accident between the shooter and thrower. Thanks.

Yea, of course I may have to give it a try (it came with 1-1/2 boxes of clays) but mostly it'll be a man-cave-den wall hanger object d'art.

I started out with one on those. --Yes I'm OLD !

 

Cool item but the Western thrower with the spring in the handle threw a better target and was easier to use.

 

I still have mine. Be sure to use the lanyard. 👍

 

Funny story
My dad would take my brothers and me clays shooting locally many, many years ago.
You could park on the shoulder of I 95 in Delaware County & shoot into the swamp, before John Heintz Wildlife preserve was installed, or shoot behind the airport. We had & I still do have both Remington hand throwers.
Dad would throw the clays for us expertly. When we tried to throw birds for my dad it was like dumb & dumber but he didn't say anything. I asked for a I believe a Truis ground mounted spring thrower, still have that.
Made it a lot easier for all to shoot.
I could not imagine the law enforcement response if U tried that today !

I have a "Blue Rock" thrower my Uncle gave me. It is mounted on a board with a string release. Was lots of fun as a kid.I do believe it was a Remington product? can anyone verify that?

 

Yes, that is a Remington product as Remington made the "Blue Rock" targets.

 

I have a couple of the Remington Blue Rock clays left. I remember shooting them as a kid, yep they were yellow!!!

 

Imagine having two and shooting doubles. Your arms would be sore.

 

I shot my first clays launched from a Remington hand thrower. I don't know what happened to it, that was back in 1960.
