I would also check out hunting in Uruguay and Paraguay. Uruguay is just across the Plata river and is easy to get in. I think you will find it more laid back and less expensive. I had the most fabulous dove shooting imaginable in Uruguay many years ago.

I would highly recommend that you contact this "ARGENTINE" outfitter while you are in Argentina.
Most of your high fees are caused when US agents get involved with the local Argentine ranchers.

Do this. He is right.

Also look up others AND CALL THEM because if you are going solo or two there are usually openings and you won't be paying for airfare. Assume you are flying into Buenos then Cordoba is not that far. In the Corboba region you can do some duck hunting and fly fishing for some beautiful trout on the San Jose river.

Air fare and shells are 3/4'sof the trip. If you are already there you are ahead of the game. Resonable prices on air fare from BA to Cordoba (I of course don't know where work will take you) but Cordoba is the place for dove in AR. I pimp Maers and Goldman for outfitting, they are in Cordoba and have 2 lodges, but there are lots of good choices. Take advice from forum members, its usually good. You will have a great time; don't pass it up.

Actually, the flight and shell costs are the worse. We paid $11/box and not sure what the room and meals were, but it wasn't that bad considering 5 course meals, booze included, and it was first rate. We went with Sierra Brava.
11 guys, 36,000 rounds, 30,000 doves, 3days. Everyone shot at least 1,000 doves on one day, a couple guys shot 2,000 and 3,000 in one day.

That is damn good shooting. Better than 80% kill ratio. I think I had 1800 birds w/2800 shells. Shot about 1 hour in Am and 1 hour in PM. Siesta after big lunch. Very civilized approach to hunting. Never touched a shell. They loaded guns for you.

Hi everyone, I'm booked to be part of a dove hunt in the famous Cordoba region of Argentina but due to unforeseen circumstances won't be able to attend. So I need to sell my seat. This is a super deal on a once in a lifetime experience. The hunt dates are flexable (orig planned for Feb 18-24, 2019). The price for this spot is $600 (what I paid). This trip was won at a Califoria Waterfowl benefit dinner - $3000 for 5 guys. I believe there might be 2 seats open at this price actually.

What's included:

-5 days/nights of accommodations in premium hunting lodges (AC/heat, showers, wifi)
-Classic Argentinian cuisine, wine, and beer (open bar)
-Ground transport, laundry services, gun maintenance

Not included:

-Airfare to COR
-Shotgun (can be rented), shells, license, tips for gun boy and staff

Additional wingshooting and big game opportunities are available.

For more info PM/email me and I will send you the pdf packet of information and put you in touch with the trip

leader. Also check out Maers and Goldman Wingshooting site: Maers&Goldman and their instagram

page for lots of neat pics of their hunts, lodging, and incredible food :
