Hey guys and gals! I'm looking for some honest feedback on LM Shooting Glasses. Mainly looking for reviews on the new 2017 All American. I know Mike provides some exceptional customer service. I'm looking for all reviews good, bad, and ugly. I'm thinking this will also be a great thread for the future if others have questions.

Thanks for your help and honesty

Absolutely would recommend them to anyone. Have bought two sets of glasses and been very pleased. I was shooting a gun with a short LOP and my hand was bumping my glasses from the recoil. It caused the lense to break where it clipped into the frame. I gave them a call and had a replacement lense in hand within 4 days for no charge.

I recently started moving to L and M frames and lenses. I was a Post 4 user and small dealer for quite a few years and with Mike Rinard's passing Post 4 to my knowledge has shut down so I was looking hard for another brand of Frames and Lenses to not only use myself but to recommend to students and customers.

After doing quite a bit of research I decided to go with the All American Frames and Lenses. I just received a 3 lens set for my dad that was done to his prescription and he is very happy and likes them a lot. He is pretty picky but likes the fit--they ride high on his nose and the lenses were cut right the first time with no issues.

Initial contact on the L and M's were recommended to me by the Bartholow's and I feel it was a good one. I will keep you posted as I get further into the product line.

My glasses are Post 4, L and M said they would continue to make lenses for those frames.

I shot traditional Rangers for years and when I went to a script, I could not get in during a shoot for an eye exam from a couple places so I went to L and M with my eye doctor's script and ordered the All Americans. Being able to see was a big change at first but then I started to get some funny eye strains on hard lefts and rights. Struggled for a year and another eye exam and new lenses were ordered. Felt a little crisper but then the same eye strain (kind of hard to describe but kind of like you are losing your balance but not moving). I missed my eye exam with my local doctor and made it in to see one at a shoot. New exam with no real difference in script but told him what I was having happen. He did not put down L and M but did say that with MY SCRIPT ( your mileage may vary) the extreme curve of the lense of the All American's, Oakleys or wrap around Rangers etc. would have distortion on the curves and suggested a straighter lense. I ended up going with Ranger Edge frames (which is what I originally wanted in the first place) and I am very happy with the lenses now.

The L and M's were fine and mike was great to deal with but the shape won't work for me.

Some great and honest reviews so far. I have only owned Decot and currently Ranger Edge. I've been considering the switch to L&M. My Decot lenses would touch my comb every time I mounted my gun and the Rangers with my blinders on rub on the side of my head causing that area to sweat

Mike made prescription lenses for me. They are great! Nice guy to deal with. He can make lenses for almost any frame you have.

I recently ordered a new lens for my L & M frame and there was a problem with the lab that puts on the anti-reflection coating for L & M. Mike took care of it, and I can second the notion that he provides outstanding customer service. His frames that use the slightly curved lens are the most comfortable I've used, and the accuracy of his prescription lens is excellent. In my experience, you can't go wrong buying his products.
