I'll play. 682 XTrap with 32" mobil choke barrels and Gold E furniture. Barrels have been bored to .730 with matching chokes and ported.

 

S682X manufactured in 1985. All original, fixed chokes (IM/F). Plain Jane but a workhorse.

 

Put this one together myself, Makes it special. 682 Silver receiver , unsingle barrel with adjustable rib, Wenig wood that I fitted and finished myself.

 

All nice 682s fellas. Outstanding stock Macbe !

Beretta 686 onyx. 1997 era. I think a cole gun due to the case harden and wood?

 

Couldn't say for sure. Haven't seen many case colored 686s. Yours is certainly a "looker" though !

IMO, one of the best O/Us you can buy for the money.

I own and competed with a 682 sporting model with Kolar AAA tubes for years.

Damn fine shotgun.

 

Holland and Holland uses them as loaner guns at their shooting school. That should speak volumes about the gun.

This is my old 682X. I bought her on this forum several years ago. She just had a rebuild from Phillip about 3 months ago and is as tight as the day she was new! She has Briley extended tubes and Phillip's double releases. This one will stay with me until I stop shooting or die......whichever is first.

I shot 15 on the first round and 19 on the second. Used to shoot around 20-22 but just getting back after over 10 years of not shooting.

I have a weak spot for the Silver Beretta receivers, have 2, most of the 680 traps I've seen were all 10 mm flat ribs. The 680 receiver more handsome than the 682 silver receiver. Your lucky to own one ........
