I recently acquired an older beretta 682. I shot a handicap event and doubles event and my shoulder was bruised from the older rock hard Morgan pad that was on it. I switched to my citori with the gracoil and shot the other 6 events for the weekend with no issue. I’d like to get the 682 to where I can shoot 3 full days with no issues. I know that’s a lot of shooting but people do it all the time. I’m thinking of just adding a nice thick kick eez pad but some of the threads on here have me thinking maybe a falcon strike is the way to go. I just don’t really love how they fit the stock. “One size fits all”(not exactly, but you get my idea). If the kick eez alone would be enough recoil reduction, it seems like a cleaner look.
I shoot 1oz 1180 8 shot for singles and doubles and 1 1-8 1200 71/2 shot for caps. I’m curious on everyone’s thoughts.
