I'm trying to concentrate on just using my combo right now.
My other doubles guns are 1988 Citori trap.

The rib on the combo is higher then the golden clays.

 

I like the CXT, but after shooting the 100's.. the lower rib isn't so good now. I'm loving the looks of the 725 unsingle combo they sell on Guns Unlimited, $4900 …. but we have the 8%discount from Browning through the 15th .. almost $400 off.. If I sell the Golden Clay.. I'll be a lot closer to buying it.. but then, if I sell the blued BT100 and the CXT, I can keep the 99 GC .. I hate to sell it, such a beautiful gun, and not available anymore.. tough decision, I have to do something before the 15th...

 

I would sell the 100 and the CXT

 

The new plus is a nice gun but a high shooter. I would go with the bt99 AR (adjustable rib) and have Tron put a gracoil and adjustable comb on it. Get it fitted and set the p.o.i where you want it. Can't go wrong

Thank you. That is what I was thinking also.. I've been watching Monsoors on Gunbroker .. they have them specially built for their sales.. I was originally going to buy the new plus .. but got taken in by the beauty of the Golden Clay..

That's what I like about the 725 unsingle combo. The single has a fully adjustable rib along with the Gracoil and adjustable comb..

Yes, I was thinking about it very seriously until I began looking at the 725 unsingle combo. The unsingle barrel has a fully adjustable rib, front and back.. check it out on Guns unlimited, with the fully adjustable stock.. for 4500.. if I purchase before the 15th, it seems like a very good deal. The reviews I've seen are excellent. I should have purchased the max before the GC, or the plus... I'd have been happier with either of those... but, if I don't sell the GC, I'l put on a Add a Rib..

I let one of the boys shoot the BT99 GC last week.. he came back today and wanted to shoot it again.. after every bird he powdered.. he was mumbling under his breath, "I hate you" .. He's a skeet shooters, but he has fallen in love with the gun.. he's a rookie cop.. so not stacked with cash .. but said he's going to try to figure out how to scrap it up .. I don't know.. hate to let it go .. but.. gotta do what I gotta do..
