Ziggy, I don't like Bush, and those who like him will say at least he prevented another terrorist attack since 9/11, whether it was his doing or not. In my opinion McCain has only voted with Bush's policies and proposals because he knew this was his last chance to board the "presidential" train. However, there have been plenty of times he broke from the republican ranks to do what he thought was right.
I am more accepting of a person who is willing not to do the popular thing if they feel it is wrong for the country. It is my personal belief, whether right or wrong, that Obama is a guy who has done and will only do what is popular or he simply won't vote on certain issues. I am more offended by politicians who hide behind abstentions and Obama has done that on several occasions. I can't think of any legislation that Obama has introduced, and I sure don't want a president who may think that he should take advice from Oprah.
On a final note, Bush wanted war in Iraq without his daughters serving in the military, McCain voted for war in Iraq knowing full well his sons would be put in harms way. AND TO EVERYONE, THAT SHOULD SPEAK VOLUMES OF THE MAN MCCAIN IS AND THE MEN THAT BUSH AND OBAMA CAN ONLY ASPIRE TO BE! SO THINK ABOUT THAT AND LET IT SOAK IN, MCCAIN DIDN'T ASK THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY FOR ANYTHING MORE THAN WHAT HE WAS RISKING, HIS OWN CHILDREN . . . HOWEVER, BUSH AND OBAMA DID.
