I have a Citori XT Trap from Millers in DE. I am sick and tired of having to remove the butt plate to make an adjustment. Also, this thing loosens up at random times and this has me losing my mind. I am looking at Graco hardware and it looks like the 420 is a direct fit kit. Some drilling is required for the comb adjustment screws and the posts. They do have a drill jig for a nominal additional cost I plan to get. My question is has anyone done this themselves and if so was it fairly straightforward? Thanks

Just send it to them and let them do it. I live close enough to drive there and did so. They are the nicest folks you will ever meet. Quality fast efficient work. The screw alignment in the side of the comb must be perfect or it will look like crap. No way in the world would I do it myself. I had Tron here on TS. do one of mine and Graco do the other. Both were outstanding. I will say though, Tron will be a lot faster and same quality of work. His turnaround for me was about 10 days. Graco probably 30 days depending on how busy they are.

[Question from Djberk]: What's on it now?
[Answer from OP]: The factory Browning through the pad adjustable comb.
^ ^ ^ I'm so confused. If the gun came with the factory Browning "through the pad" system (and that's what is still "on it now"), why do you need to remove the buttplate to make adjustments? The wrench access hole was already factory installed through the recoil pad, right? But, why did you say butt plate? Is there actually a Gracoil on the gun?

I'm confused here as well. Graco markets drill fixtures for drilling the large-diameter deep holes for their Gracoil and Adjustable-LOP buttplate products and for in-stock recoil reducers. And they have "transfer plates" to mark centerpoints for post holes, but I didn't think they marketed any jigs or fixtures for the small holes needed for the comb set-screws. Please enlighten me if they do.

So on the first part of the confusion I should have specified. I had an adjustable butt plate installed.

As for the Jig yes I called and they offer a jig I'll attach a photo. They said part number is DF420 for the 420 hardware.
