Yes, a MX-10 stock and forearm will fit a DB-81 gun. There may need to be minor fitting of the forearm around the barrels and the receiver may need to be fitted so the tang does not chip out the wood behind the safety.

Very minor work if it is needed.

Do you know if the sight picture or the hight of the comb would be about the same?
I was thinking of updating the stock with a pre made Wenig American style stock that they sell for a MX-10. 1-3/8 x 1-3/8 x 2-1/2.

John. either the Wenig, or the MX10 will set up well. Go fo rti.

John. The biggest problem is that DB81s are usually 50/50 shooters regardless of what others will say. Plan on some space betwenn the beads

 

I shoot at least 80/20. A few spacers and it should work fine.
