I have attached some pics. I got a nice set from Tron when he did a comb for me on my Browning 525. I like the different colors as you can tell very easily the ones that you need to set the comb at the right height. I have since made a set out of aluminum for my 525 as I change from the 12 ga sporting clays barrel, low rib, to my 28 ga skeet barrel with a high rib. It has made my 525 my favorite shotgun and made it easy to change back and forth. You can also see nylon and stainless steel washers that also work well and can be purchased at the hardware store. Regards, Bob

Rug head the reason why he needs spacers for the browning hardware is that this is the first sign that the inferior garbage is breaking. Throughout the years Browning and Beretta engineers have been coming up with ways to reduce recoil and adjust combs by inventing something new. Instead of improving the gun or the grade of wood or checkering, they come out with the pogo stick recoil, memory comb system, kick off or thru the pad comb adjuster. All garbage which has to be replaced. The spacers for the posts of the Browning hardware don't come in different thickness the posts are 5/16" round. Those colored spacers fit a 7/16 post and obviously will rattle around on anything smaller. How many of you remember the Browning salt stocks? Another wise decision on their part! Joe

When I replaced that POS memory system that came in a 682 Gold-E & DT-10 with real hardware I threw that piece of crap on the driveway and beat it with a hammer so no one else would ever have to suffer through it`s use . That had to be the result of some bean counter trying to save money that failed miserably .

Come on now HM, you know shooters spend lots of money on expensive shooting accessories. Look at what a shell bag or a shooting vest, or even shooting glasses go for now? Why begrudge someone if they want colored plastic washers and they are willing to spend whatever for them. I remember when I started trapshooting in 75, I used a carpenters nail bag to hold my unfired shells in. I used it for years until I won a hand stitched leather one as a prize. No one had expensive shooting glasses either, just the plastic yellow safety glasses.. Joe
