Steve here... Looking to possibly buy another Citori, in 20ga. Have my eye on a few 20 year old guns, 325's 425's. I also found a new White lightning. My question is any of you guys have an opinion(quality) on the Citori's over the last 10-20 years. Any help would be great
Thank you
Steve

I had a Citori from the early 80’s and I now have a CX. The bluing on the older models was deeper and more polished. It almost looked like black chrome. The roll marks on the CX barrel are slightly cratered, the Citori from the 80’s was polished after the roll marks were applied. The fitment of everything on the CX is equivalent to the 80’s Citori, everything fits together tightly with no gaps. Shoots great, very happy with my CX. It’s not at finely finished as other Browning guns but barrel regulation is spot on and it breaks everything when I do my part.
After reading your post about the bluing and roll mark. I found a few close up picks that confirm this.
Thank you
Steve
