What’s the safest way to pay for a gun, someone advertises on here? Honestly, I don’t feel comfortable mailing a check to someone, then hoping that they ship the gun.. is there some sort of escrow that people use??

There are some online escrow sites if you are really worried. I would just mail a check or wire.

I only deal on line with FFL's who have a brick and motor location. Never had a problem.
I have found that Using an FFL on both ends of the transaction is the best and most secure way to handle gun sales..
