Browning apparently has the same issue with their dura-touch finish.? Not sure how they are handling it but I know of a few people trying to get it fixed. Not certain on the outcome. I have one of the browning 3-d rifles with that finish.🤞. Sounds like great service from Benelli!

Browning and Winchester had a class action lawsuit brought against them for the duratouch issue. I have a SX2 getting new plastic currently.

My Cordoba had the same issue and Benelli sent me a new stock set as well. From others I know who shoot Benellis, Benelli USA was aware of the problem as well as certain batches of combs and recoil pads. Good shooting, Rey

You can actually clean all the residue and the stock will have a cool fiberglass look about it. I did and then sold it on eBay with full disclosure.

 

what did you use to clean it? When I asked Benelli they said nothing worked well.

 

My cordoba is about 10 years old but since I found the super sport stock sexier I immediately found a super sport set on eBay and have used that set ever since. The original set with that finish you speak of never gets used.
