What I used to do back in the day, buy powder, date the container, get the freebie manual and keep them together or at least know where the booklet is, and go from there. Use data with the booklet together. Data can change over the years and be aware typo's do happen. Metallics don't need max loads all the time to blow zombies into vapor, I hesitate talking about "Whelen" loads that used shotgun powders in lead bullet rifle loads, handgun loads didn't need to take out a Grizzley Bear with one shot (see .32 S&W long or .38 Special lead loads) and shotgun worked well with "mousepoot" loads. Today, lacking the freebie load booklets, maybe print out on line data or save same to thumb drive(?). Same date primers. At least you know how old they are. And store both properly if you can, no powders and primers in shed or chicken coop.

I just recently dug an old (late 80's, early 90's) PACT Model 1 Chronograph out of my garage. I need to see if by some miracle it still works.

Exactly what I have two of. From the same era. Good units. 24" screen spacing which is more accurate than 12". These were originally bought during my rifle competition years.
Bought one extra light sensor/cord assembly for them, just in case.
