The green blow molded ones or the black cordura ones that came with the G3? The black ones were made by Buffalo something I think, Buffalo Run, Buffalo Creek, something like that. The green ones would have been made by some random blow molding contractor that the records for are long gone.

The black ones haven't been made in well over a decade, and the green blow molded ones probably for about as long, at least since before COVID.

If I had to guess, they probably all came from China originally.

Neither are that high in quality or that useful, esp if your gun is modified any from bone stock in terms of pad adjuster, comb raised up, ect. You'd be better off with a Negrini for pump/semi shotguns.

Man I have a great memory for the most useless junk sometimes.

The black ones came from Buffalo River, this is from their 2009 catalog courtesy of the Wayback Machine. Based on the totality of their products I'd all but guarantee they were China made. "Leather like" LOL

The green ones never had a mfg associated with them.

I have one of the black cases for the G3 that I would probably sell but it is like nothing fits in it except for that gun.
A 12 ga. 870 will not fit w/o doing some serious alterations to the foam spacers inside.
The green plastic cases are much better IMO.
