Hello all,
I’m in the market to upgrade the current shotgun which is a Browning citori trap that was manufactured in 1978. I have noticed after shooting about 200 rounds my scores really start to drop off due to the gun not fitting me properly and the 40 year old rock solid recoil pad. I have been able to handle a browning 725 trap and have been looking really hard at the combo that is offered through guns unlimited for about 6k. Having a recoil system and the ability to make full adjustments to fit me seems like a no brainer.
Talking with more fellow shooters at these ATA events they seem to love the k/p guns. I have shot a kolar that had a price tag of 16k, I wasn’t blown away to be honest. I know everyone has their own opinions but what does a gun with a price tag of 10k even into the 20k range get you above the 725 that I have been looking at. I have been averaging 96 in 16 yrd, 89 in handi (21yrd) and a 84 in doubles, just looking for something I can improve with.
Thanks for all your thoughts and opinions.
