Indiana gun club is a great option depending on where your located. A large selection of new and used stuff with a knowledgeable staff. And I believe you can test shoot any of there used guns that you may be interested in.
He is underage but posted here with my permission. Any gun purchases would be done by my husband or I.

Forums are great for doing research and getting information.
We are a trapshooting specialty forum thus you will get alot of excellent information.
If he is in a youth clay sports program I would suggest spending time with the coaching staff to get some quality information.
We also have a dedicated youth clay sports section on the forum.

If you were paying even a small amount of attention, you would notice that both individuals involved do not have the requisite post count to use the member classified forums.
You might want to reacquaint yourself with the rules too.

Oh I'm sorry let me rephrase my reply to this thread;
Go post up 50 stupid questions that don't mean crap like what size shot is better 7.5 or 8 or what is the best bag for storing hulls, Wal-Mart or target.
THAN
Throw up a post in the WTB section with what you're looking for and your budget, I'm sure you'll get some feedback.

It is fortunate that V10 happened to see Mr. D's reply first. I m of the opinion that forum threads should be read in a detailed fashion before replying and when someone from the mod. team makes a suggestion to go with it.
Kinda funny we are at a all time low in bans over the past 30 days and we get stuff like this.
We opened up the classified section/made it easier for members to use--less rules more member benefits and really for site and member security kept the 50 post threshold and that is about it.

I’m in NW IN and the best sources I’ve experienced within a few hours drive are Jaquas, Dawson Ent., and Indiana Gun Club. Pacific Sporting East north of Detroit also good but a bit farther away.
Guns International. If for no other reason it suggests what the going price is.
