With all of the advanced cleaning products on the market today for gun cleaning how many on here still use Hoppes #9 to clean their guns? When I was in 8th. grade and got my first Model 870 I remember that this was the only cleaning product on the market that virtually everyone used.
DOES ANYONE STILL USE HOPPES #9 FOR CLEANING THEIR GUNS?

i use Hoppe's for my gun cleaning, love the smell of the powder solvent

I use others mainly for barrel work now.
But I will always have #9 just so I can pop a top and go back in time.

How can you possibly clean guns without the smell of Hoppes????? That's just not right !!!!!! Possibly a violation of gun ownership rules.....merlyn

Yes .
Nothing beats the smell of Hoppes # 9 and works like a charm
