I have an opportunity to look at a Remington Peerless 12ga o/u. Frankly, I never knew Remington made o/u's. Is this an import like the Baikal series or 798/799 rifle series that was branded "Remington" years ago? Anyone shoot one and have any opinions? Like I need another field o/u, but always looking to grab fun and unique items. TIA.

It might be ok if you use it for hunting only. I had one years ago along with a 396 Rem o/u and a 332 Rem o/u they were ok but as lostandout has stated the parts are no
longer available. Numrich arms had a few parts at one time but none of the parts that usually break.

Look up Remington Model 32....the American made ancestor of the K-80 and the Remington 3200.
