how often does your shotgun get cleaned. I wipe mine down with a silicone rag after every time shooting it. Run a bore brush and clean the barrel and wipe down after a days shoot for a ATA event usually 300 rounds. Usually once a month clean it very well in the cracks and crevices. Put a dab of grease on the pivot pins and working areas every time I put it together.

Wipe mine down with an oily rag and run a bore snake through it after I’m finished shooting & that’s all mine gets.

but I’m not one of these guys who keeps everything perfect. I view My trap gun & truck as a tools and when used, can get imperfections and dirty. I’m not saying don’t take care of your things but I don’t idolize them or make them something there not.

Only shoot 50 or a 100 rounds a week, after every shoot I run the Outers 1 piece cleaning rod in and back in with the lube adapter in one time in each barrel, then wipe the outside down with Sentry Solutions Marine TUF-CLOTH and back in safe till next week, take apart every 6 months for a better cleaning

Run a lubed bore snake down the barrels at the end of each shooting session, and wipe down and relube the chokes. Wipe off excess grease from the pre-shooting greasing, and wipe down any excess moisture or lube anywhere.

If I shoot several days in a row or a couple times in a short time period, I’ll let it go until I’m done for a while. It’ll get a good cleaning then. Otherwise, I just wipe it down to get the fingerprints off of the barrels. Modern powder is much more forgiving to bores than what shooters used to have to deal with....

My cleaning is running a bore snake through the barrels, cleaning the threads and choke tubes, and degreasing and wiping the action off. I do it every time I am done with the range unless I am returning within the next couple of days to shoot again.

Cleaned at the end of the day of use. I consider the cleaning a part of the using. I always try to do a complete job and not just a partial cleaning - because I'm already soaked in smelly bore solvent so I might as well do it all before I get cleaned up.
