I've bounced back and forth for a week since I discovered the BT99 and all the different options. Read tons of reviews, info, experiences and posts. I'm ordering one in the next 48hrs... I think I have settled on the BT99 Plus model, has what I want in features, adjustable comb, raised rib, single barrel made for Trap. I was bouncing back and forth between the base model BT99, the Plus and even the Golden Clays model I found at a cheap $3200 price tag … but that's just too much to spend for an adjustable butt pad. So unless, someone can talk me out of it … my main question is which barrel length, 32 or 34" I actually saw one for sale here, but that's off limits for me so I'm buying new off GB or my local FFL, if he can find me one.. Heck I'm impulsive and compulsive enough to just buy one tonite if I hear the right response.. there's a half dozen of them on GB..
Thanks

What happens when you want to shoot doubles.

Good choice going with the BT-99 Plus. I would have to agree 34 inch barrel for all the reasons above, however a 32 should work just as well. If you can hold off for a few weeks Browning may have a 10% rebate starting March 1. Its my understanding its a yearly promotion. I know its been going for the last two years for sure. Good luck with what you choose.

My first trap gun was a BT99 34”barrel. When I decided to move up to an O/U and trade my BT99
Turbo, Dom has been around for a while...
Read what he says about moving "UP" to an O/U.
Shoot your Citori Ultra for a while. Putting 10,000 rounds through it will do you more good than shooting 2 different guns!

I would go with a 34”. I’m 6-3 and 230 so a big guy.

A 32” might be a little lighter and easier to swing

That’s the thing about online buys, you can’t handle and compare..
I did have the opportunity to try one out sunday, I did ok, it had the adjustable butt pad and was turned for a lefty, a little funky, but I liked it..

As a previous owner all the BT 99 Plus 34 inch and an owner of a BT 99 + 32 inch (the older Plus). I could tell the difference between the two.
The only reason I sold my Plus is because I'm shooting a BT 99 golden clays and the new BT 99 Max high grade.
