I want to remove a glued on perazzi recoil pad. Is there a good way to do this without damaging the wood or needing to go to a gunsmith/stockmaker to cut the pad off. I've replaced several pads on other shotguns, but this is my first perazzi and a glued on pad. Thanks Rick

Heat up the pad using hairdryer, not to ruin the stock finish.

Pry the edge of the pad away a little.

Use thin blade knife slide in the gap, work your way through, don't cut the edge of the wood.

Good luck.

I took your advice and used a hair dryer to soften the glue. Then used a screwdriver in the stock wrench hole to apply a little leverage. As the glue softened the pad peeled off with no problem. Already have a new kickeez installed.

Thanks
