Only restriction is 1 oz loads so you’re golden. Don’t let your nerves make you jerk the gun. Smooth controlled swing to the ZZ is the key. It’s an incredibly addicting shooting experience. Good luck and good shooting, Rey
Is shooting ZZ targets good practice for nailing drones when the mostly peaceful demonstrations finally evolve into outright anarchy? Asking for a comrade.😉
1oz, I prefer 7 1/2 @1250 fps, with mod and light full. You can get too much choke and too much velocity. The idea isn,t to put the target into orbit, you have to keep it in the ring.
Yeah the only issue I was having was finding shells. It was either these or 1180s and I don’t shoot those even for ATA. So I figured these were the best way to go. And for chokes I was figuring mod/ Imp Mod
I am going to a helice shoot today. My shell of choice is 1st shot AA 1290, 8s, backed up by a AA 1350, 7 1/2s. It is an extremely addictive sport! The fast doves will work just fine. Your choice of choke tubes are the same as mine, providing your shotgun patterns them well. Best of luck to you.
Shells are ok might be a little snapy on the first shot just keep your head on the stock! For chokes if your fast mod/ im is ok most people i shoot with its IM/F or F/F. It's your first time just have fun! I like 1oz 71/2 1300fps in clever or B&P
A great shooting game , and it truly is addictive. We have a group that regularly shoots Sundays at Cherokee Rose south of Atlanta. I have found 8s at 1300 work best for me, usually with mod and light full. However, the choice of chokes and shot choice varies widely among the participants.
I have shot, and still do, damned near anything 1 oz and 1250+/-.I more often than not use Super Targets. You can get into the whole "is this ammo better" thing. I have been there. I shoot for the love of the game, not my living.
