Here is a first look opportunity for TS.com users at a very unique and exciting trap shoot. It is unique because we have packaged everything; targets, hotel, transportation so that all you have to do is fly in with your gun, glasses and ears. You'll shoot 500 singles and 500 handicap targets over 5 days.

It is also unique because we are splitting the money prizes equally and they are based on your score for 500 targets. This means that the shooter who wins C singles will get the same size check as the shooter who wins handicap champ. With 400 shooters expected, those checks should be pretty large.

Tilden is also creating some great belt buckles for high scores in each of the 10 events and the Kolar sponsored HOA Buckles as well.

If you want a First Class experience, come and help us support the new Clark County Shooting Park and re-capture the glory days of trapshooting. You don't want to miss the fun of great targets during the day and Las Vegas at night.

We have some special early bird pricing that TS.com users get first crack at as our full page adds in T&F and TrapshootingUSA and direct mail won't appear until the first week of February. Click the link for the best bargain in trapshooting.

Thanks for looking,

Gary Bombalicki

WOW, this sounds like a very good time. I might have to work a little extra at work.

I am a little confused regarding the early bird rates. It says the early bird rate is good until 01/31, but in bold it says 02/13.

Woohoo preregistered.

Hey Gary one more question, does the $99 for my spouse include the hotel or is that extra?

From the program it appears that the cost to shoot each event will be about $50--- expect some pretty long shoot-off's in the single's events.

I suspect they will come to realize that money-shooters would rather put their $$$ into handicap events rather than singles --- and that shooter's like to shoot well-set doubles.

I got the feeling people are going to see many promotions geared toward shooters to bring in business to the Clark County Shooting Park in the future because they do things right in Las Vegas ... Thats what I'm talking about, Viva Las Vegas ... I will be checking my schedule and calling a few friends about this one ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Hi Guys, I'm in Las Vegas at the Shot Show meeting with sponsors and was out last night so this is my first chance to respond.

The cost of the targets is in the package including daily registration fees.

The $99.00 for spouse or guest includes the hotel.

"ATA scoring rules will be used. Monday through Thursday high scores in each class or yardage group will be carried over to the next similar event. High scores ties on Friday will be determined by long run from the first target in that event that day. Any remaining ties will revert to long run back from the last target the previous day.

On Friday, any HOA ties for the week will be shot off using ATA shoot off rules. If a shooter advances in class or receives earned yardage, their HOA score will be listed in the class or yardage group in which they began the first applicable event."

I had an email about chair shooters. If you need a special access hotel room, they are available, just let us know when you book. The transfer coaches have chair lifts so that is not a problem. The Shooting Park is fully accessible and we can shuttle chair shooters to their fields.

I had a call about our fun casino in our Hospitality Tent. The tent will be at least 4,000 sq feet so there will be room. The casino will run during the day Tuesday and Wednesday. You will be able to buy chip stacks for $20.00 and all proceeds will go to the Nevada SCTP kids. We will have full size crap, roulette and black jack. There will be some good prizes to win.

It should be loads of fun.

PS I suspect they may be a few private card games going at some of the tables as well.

Bob, I'm just running this shoot. There are some local guys who are doing the monthly shoots and, as you know, they put on a great first one last month. There second one is this weekend and I wish I could stay for it.

I have gotten a ton of support from the management of the Shooting Park. While it was built by grant money, it is part of the Clark County Parks Department and management is under pressure to get the thing breaking even and in the black. The Department can't sponsor shoots so they have to have outside operators produce the shoots.

When the new Manager called me in November to see if I was interested in producing a shoot, we went to work to come up with a format that would offer a new experience, generate some good prize money, put a lot of targets in the air and offer a first class experience.

I have goten a great reception from the manufacturers here at the Shot Show. Everyone knows how important it is to make this new gun club work. So, everybody who comes to the shoot is really helping our sport. Hope to see you here.

The reasons behind not having doubles are that we wanted a format that everyone could shoot, we know a lot of people are going to fly in and bringing a second gun just for a couple of events was probably not worth the effort and the tournament is two, 500 target competitions and doubles just didn't fit.
