I was watching that auction. The Yildiz auctioned is a beautiful gun but not worth $6.,000.00 to me.
I'd be willing to try one for $2,500.00 and think that's a reasonable price. They sell for that and less in Great Britain.

 

I think this auction was a marketing test. They threw out a high number and it got ignored. So they sent it to auction and now they have a more realistic pricing model.

Watch for pricing to near there.

 

I want to try one of these things so badly!!! If the could get the non-engraved model to about $2500ish, I'd take a chance. This gun is supposed to be an exact copy of a mx12 or mx2000s which I can get a release put in. I would just hate to purchase the gun and find out I can't put a release in it?

Some very respectable gun dealers are handling the Yildiz Pro.
Pacific Sporting comes to mind.
They wouldn't handle the gun if they didn't believe it's a good quality gun.

 

I absolutely love my Prostar. It will get a taste of live birds at a dog trial this weekend in the gallery.

 

Typically I've seen that the handful of dealers are carrying the same price for the Yildiz Pro here in the US.
About $3800 for the unengraved
and about $6000 for the engraved

I suspected that the market really wasn't going to bear those prices from the prior conversations here.
I did see one dealer that had the unengraved on GB a while back at $3k and it didn't sell...which makes me think the market bearable price is lower than that.

But, another data point just happened. August fine guns did a no reserve auction on a game scene engraved. So he let the market decide what the gun was worth.
Winning bid got it at $4200 and his buy it now that was not used was $6300.
33% low is probably rough on the seller but....

That same downward push would get the unengraved to $2533 which I think is around what a few people in the other thread were putting out as a number.
I know I'd be more opt to give it a whirl at that number over the $3800

I agree, the seller sent up a trial balloon & unfortunately for him the balloon burst. The seller sets the asking price but the buying market establishes the value. It’ll be interesting to follow future listings.

 

A used game scene engraved Prostar just sold on Guns Intl for $3,200.

 

I just purchased one that was not engraved, with having the stock shortened and kickeeze pad put on was $3500 out the door shipped, no credit card fees, no shipping fees and no sales tax. Target Shotguns. Will be arriving Monday.

They wouldn't sell them if they were junk.

 

You must be kidding! Dealers are doing what they do best, make money. I got my Tetanus shot so I’ll be protected by guns made in Turkey if I were to touch one.

 

I have 3865 rounds down the barrel so far. I have zero complaints with this gun. I absolutely love this gun.

 

Between us my partner and I have 25000+ through our two in the last 18 months. No issues.

 

I got a great buy on a demo Yildiz Pro from one of the big name dealers and shot the gun for the first time today.
I must admit I really like it. It feels great, fits perfectly and swings nice. It will be my backup gun to my Krieghof KS5 Special.
I might decide to sell my Browning CXT.

Yep mine as well all check spot on. Even see quite a few barrels on the P guns. I have over 18k rounds down the barrels of mine with no issues. This is my fourth year shooting a Prostar!
