My last registered bird was in 2004. I won the Junior class at the IL state shoot Sunday handicap. Shot a 97 from 23. 23 was the penalty yardage for juniors at that time.

Now, 11 years later I want to get back into ATA shooting. From what I read on this site, I will pick up from where I left off. I don't know how many yards I would get for a 97. I'm assuming 1. Does the ATA have this on record somewhere or is it based on my word?

Also I'm not too interested in playing any options. I just like to shoot for trophys. If that's the case would I still need to shoot the penalty yardage of 25?

Sorry for all the questions, but it's been a long time!

If you had last shot in the 1990's it might not have been converted and available but the ATA would still have the records. In that case you would have to have called them.
