Hard to believe someone asked for a price and you said no. How much - any pics? How old?
It is likely for this rifle to bring a high price because of the demand and quality of the older Marlins. This might easily go for 700+ on gunbroker. It is much less likely that someone has and wants to do the trade this guy wants.
You are probably right...but I won't part with the one I have until I can find the one I want. I may have the 44 for a while.
