Vintage Ithaca Single Barrel Trap 12gauge shotgun! "$2500 Grade" only 7 $2500 Grades were made and all were individual and unique. This is one of the highest grades that Ithaca made. This one was made in 1959 and engraved by Justin Michelina, (the only one he did before he died) this gun is a museum quality shotgun. I have shot it a couple of times in the 20 years that I have owned it, and it shoots great! 32" barrel, full choke, a knockout gun. $14,000!

smsnyder, You are correct the 2500 dollar grade was introduced in 1959 at a cost of 2500. In 1965 it became the 3000 dollar grade. Info comes from The American Single Barrle Trap Gun by Frank F. Conley. Bill

The last of the highest grade Ithaca was a $6500 Grade made in 1979. The others include the $1500 grade - 1945, $2000 Grade - 1955, $3000 Grade - 1965, $4500 Grade - 1970 and $5000 Grade - 1976. Each was reported to sell for the grade price in the year of mfg. Additionally in 1984 the Dollar Grade was made for $9700. All this information came from Frank Conleys Book "The American Single Barrel Trap Gun" Number 0101, signed by him. I was fortunate to have visited him at his home in Carmel Valley, Ca. In fact I own some of the guns in the book! Jon
