Not to question your decision but just what difference would it make if your using it right handed and it's cast properly? The new style only provided the manufacturer a way of reducing parts inventory and still be producing either sided stock. Prior, he needed two different sets of mounting blocks (left sided & right sided) to accomodate either side. Great manufacturing decision but unneeded unless you just want to brag, "It's a new style" Works just the same.
