I have one of the older Mec primer trays (holds about a 100 and is chrome plated) mine has the sliding plastic cover over the primers and the weld is broke on the drop tube.

I want to buy a used tray with same sliding type cover if someone has one they would sell.

I had one with the same problem and MEC welded it up for me.
