I have 65 rounds of once fired R-P brass, segregated by weight, trimmed, sized, belled, primer pockets uniformed and flash holes deburred.

Also, 154 R-P 405 gr factory Soft Point bullets, all for $70 shipped.

I no longer shoot the big round.

Shooting Coach,

I don't want to step on Bill Grills toes, but if he doesn't buy the brass, I'd be interested.

Looking for dies too.

Please e-mail me.

When I had a Marlin 95 in the 80s my best hunting load was 37 grs 2400, 300gr fp, LRP, this was about 2000 fps. Ive taken 7 deer, 3 bear, 5 elk & 1 moose with that load. I also used a Williams reciever peep site on my gun.
Another load was using IMR 4198 at about 1900 fps. Its been a long time since I sold that gun and don't recall the actual powder charge.
Also just about any load over 1700 fps is going to be felt on the shoulder and the 2000 fps is not a plinking load....:)
Brass can be found at Cabellas, Sportmans Warehouse and most other shops as well as bullets.
What gun do you have since that will set your parameters on your loads.

Mike,

No, I have no data for a pistol load although Ive seen them, but no use when I was loading for the rifle.

Bill any load for the Marlin 95 is good in the Winchester 86 according to all the data Ive seen. No loads for the Ruger #1 should be used in either though.
