world police and fire games

From what I have been told they plan on shooting the clay target events over 5 days?? Two days of skeet, two days of trap and 1 day of sporting clays. Seems to me these could be shot over three days like the western states police and fire games. 6 or 7 days in a hotel gets exspensive when the events could be shot in 3 days.
Our team of 5 decided not to go.

Will try to come,its just a couple weeks after grand,so might be a grind after shooting 1000 targets at grand,don't seem fair that a 27 yard shooter for 25 years can shoot on the 22. Robert Memphis Fire

The hotel recommended to me by Sal when we were at Can-Am last year was the Marriot Courtyard in Ron Konkommen. It looks like it's about 15 miles or so from Monorville. They have a discount for the games. I think it's 129 per night, if you split it that's not to bad. Our rooms are aleady reserved.

My dad's squad used to compete in St. Louis. Never won but always placed. Only all volunteer squad that did, back then.

All Events - “High Overall" Category
In the “High Overall” Category medals will be awarded in “A”, “B”, “C” and Women’s Divisions (for the Women’s High Overall the competitor must enter in the Women’s Division for the Individual Events in Skeet, Sporting Clays and Trap). These medals represent the best overall performance in the six (6) Individual Events in Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays. To be eligible for this award, the competitor must be entered into the six (6) Individual Events and also be entered into this “High Overall” Category in Sporting Clays.
If fewer than 5 women enter the Women’s Division in each, the Women’s Division of High Overall will be canceled and the shooters will have the option of competing in one of the unisex divisions or withdrawing.

No "volunteers" at this event. Not at the "world" games anyway. You are welcome to compete in the Can-Am games however.
I got a lesson in trap from Mr. Hayes in Ohio last year! Boy, do I have work to do on my trap game! Especially the Caps! I'm in it for the whole 600! Big fun, I'm looking forward to August. I plan to bring a few more cases of Grain Belt too!
