Today started out overcast and with a little rain but not enough to stop some good shooting with fog rolling off the snow made for some tough targets at time but didnt hurt the scores any ,starting at 10am with the protections 8 in all before the calcutta deadline at 12pm and lunch which was chicken, potatoes and gravy greenbeans, goulash, squash, and pasta salad and rolls and dessert and as always it hit tha spot a big Thank You to all the help and Vounteers at FR&GC ,you put on a great shoot ...now a few pics before the calcutta boards...
First of all ,all the rumors are not true that Trevor sold his trap gun and moved to Siberia he made a appearance today out of no where and actually he can still shoot pretty good ...
He even drug Pops along A.K.A Tom Bouma ...really Tom told me he had to wake Trevor up to come you know how these kids are now days ..
We even had the likes of guys like Clayton Marshall show up and he brought Zach ,And Eddie but no HULLGULL a.k.a. Gary Metheny he must of made a pot of Chili and was over at Hook's watching the Fat Lady Sing !!!
And no sunday callcutta would be complete without a full clubhouse and a rummy game going on ..
And here we have Bob Richmond telling Zach how this week he got a A+ in his Trapshooters Anonymous Anger Management classes this Week...
And a few pics of the squads today and notice no raingear on anybody so all you shooters who stayed home today listening to the weather channel missed out on a great shoot..
We even had a pretty good peanut gallery watching the shootoffs and still no rain ...although we were still shy a couple regulars namely Hulk Hogan a.k.a. Perry Moore word has it he packed up his Hover Round Chair and headed south on us again to shoot in the land of Dixie ...now the calcutta board..
Today we had 3 squads with 13 teams and in first place we had a 4 way tie at 49 and it got down to 2 teams and they split with Eddie Marshall and Don Stevens & Bob Richmond and Scott Essenberg for the win and second we had a split with Tim Schanz and Doc & Zach Marshall and Brian Lester at 48 and 3rd place was taken outright by (i can still hit a few) a.k.a.
