Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there ,today at FR&GC was cool and windy but by the scores you wouldnt of known it ,today started out with a Mothers day breakfast leading into protections at 10am with the shooter count being a little low today probably due to the weather and of course everybody spending time with there Mom ,the calcutta sign up went right on time at lunch time 12noon with lunch being grilled chicken breasts, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and lots of desserts a big thank you goes out to all the volunteers who helped with the shoot today and especially to all the Moms who took time out of there special day to help out with the food and helping behind the counter you and everybody always make it a great place to come and shoot ...now a few pics

Today was cool and windy but that didnt stop the squads from filling up and everybody having a good time today at Fennville..

We had Big Steve trying to convince Rick Schanz why the prices of shot should be coming down while giving the camera the stink eye (Steve loves the camera)

And we had Bob Richmond and son in law Doug Evert stop by to shoot and hangout ...

And of course the rummy game that goes on every sunday between rounds sometimes i wonder if they come to shoot or play cards they seem to enjoy both the same ..

And a couple from the clubhouse where people were catching up with friends talking and just enjoying the day..

And Cindy and Mick Yonkers as always out at the club being a big help at every shoot and a special Added thank you to Cindy today for spending her Mothers Day helping us have a great shoot !!!

And trap shooting legends George Snellenberger & Todd Delp made it to the shoot today (but no Matty )

And another pair of trap shooting legends Gary Metheny & Rick Ski (still no Matty) i asked Rick where Matt was he told me he was home vacuming and cleaning the house for his mother but im not buying it because Hook wasnt there either pretty sure there watching something on Hooks Big screen again ..ok lets get to the calcutta board..

Today we had 3 squads for 15 teams

And in first place with a 75 straight we had Jack Patton & Trevor Bouma Great shooting guys in those conditons

Second place went to Harry L. & Ken Sims with only one bird dropped for a 74

And third went to Bob Richmond & Ethan Fazer with only 2 birds dropped at 73

Great shooting by everybody to first time in a longtime 1st,2nd,3rd and not a single shootoff!!

So ill end this for now with a Pic of Anthony Seekman saying what we all say about Fennville Rod And Gun Club ,a big thumbs up for another great shoot and ill add the second board later if i can get the results if any of you know please add it to the post and remember Allegan is next week with a 75 bird pick and a 75 bird draw ...
