Agree with david - I don't shoot much in the winter anymore but I still remember it - and Golf golves keep my hands much warmer than the "insulated shooting gloves" the shooting vendors want us to buy.
I've been using those for a couple years. I also wear a very thin glove liner underneath on colder days (below 30F) and that helps a lot. It was in the 20's here this weekend and my fingers were toasty.
