Instead of shooting in the cold weather and we've sure had more than usual this year, I have opted to do a little reading curled up in my favorite chair.

So far I have finished: "Talent is Overrated".....the first half is excellent and can be applied to shooting. "Go Long" by Jerry Rice formerly of the 49ers.....I was interested in his training methods and drive to excell--an easy read. "Life is not a game of Perfect"... lots of application for the mental game of trapshooting(recommended by Ontariogal). "How good do you want to be" by Rick Saban the Alabama football coach, just starting this and it looks good. "Turn Around and Run Like Hell" an interesting and fun read about world famous battles. "The Total Wellbeing Diet", interesting food facts and menus. On order and next on the list "The Live Food Factor" a Vegan book which is highly rated, we'll see as it is filled with good info, facts, and menus---over 600 pages! Also on the to read list is "Nutrition and Athletic Performance" another Vegan book on eating Green...a treaty on non dairy or red meat!

Reading may not improve your scores, but Hey, it may not hurt and is a lot less expensive! Biff

That's funny! I have also done the same thing down here in south Louisiana, not that it was too cold, but I wanted to do some reading at night.....

I dusted off all of my old Gene Hill books, all 8 or 9 of them and started reliving some of the good ole days though his words.... it's nice every now and then to take a break, settle back and sip some coffee and read a good book.....
