Winter projects

Some pictures of my winter projects. The first is a remington 32 from 1936, 30 inch barrels f&f metal was in great shape but the checking was completely worn down and black and the finish was badly checked. This is what it looks like now. The second is myrtle wood one from one of our vendors Mr. M built for a friends tm1.

I've got 1 more in myrtle wood on final stages of finishing just completed checkering this week. It's what Mr m calls blood myrtle has a lot of reddish brown streaking in it. I'll post pictures here when it's completed.

Just completed my last winter project it's another myrtle wood on a tm1 I love the way the appearance of the wood changes as you look at it from different angles. Here are some pictures
