Depending on choke constriction, possibly. I won't shoot steel in any of mine though.

I would not unless it was an improved cylinder or skeet barrel.

Steel does not flow through a choke like lead, and a ring bulge would make you go buy a hack saw and a poly choke.

This is a very good question. I am and was under the impression that steel shot is a no no in older guns and could eat up the barrel. Something to do with newer guns are chrome lined ??

No.. the only problem with old guns.. and steel shot is 2 things.. FIRST.. nothing more than a .018 choke.. 2ND.. no paper thin barrels like the Fox Sterlingworth..
