Does Anyone have recollection if the AA plus was hotter than the previous WW AA’s or was it just marketing for the new AAPlus powder? I seem to recall protection shooters claiming they used them for shoot offs beyond the 27yd line.

I had 3 1/2 cases (20 boxes each) of AA Plus 12 gauge, which I bought 4 or 5 years ago - they were 3 dram equivalent in AA CF hulls.
I now have the hulls for reloading.

I bought (6) 20 box cases of the AA plus and AA super lite from an estate sale. I’m saving them to shoot when I run out of my current stash of CF hulls. Apparently these were made before most of the posters on this board were born or started shooting. That would explain a lot of what I read here.

If you look up Winchester shotshell ammunition date codes on the Internet, you can date the ammo that you have.
