My 13 year old daughter started shooting trap last year and shoots a Winchester SX3 12 gauge. A friend gave me a flat of Winchester AA reduced recoil shells. He thought the reduced recoil loads would be good loads for her to start the season with. It states right on the box to only shoot in break open and pump guns as the reduced recoil loads may not cycle the action. Is there any reason these can't be shot from her SX3 for singles trap? I realize they may not cycle the action but does that matter in singles when she can just manually eject the empty?

If she is OK to manually eject the empty, She is good to go.
No concerns for damage to the SX3.

Its All Good.

I have experience with kids shooting these rounds and manually ejecting, works fine and builds confidence but you may want to consider getting an extended bolt handle if you plan on shooting a lot of them. It didnt take long for their hand to get sore from constantly opening the action with the smaller handle.
