Can anyone tell me what powder Winchester load in their AA HS 900fps loads, its a silvery grey ball powder around 13 grains , a 7/8 oz. grey win wad and 15/16 oz. shot, cartridges are no longer available here in Australia and friend who uses them will have to give up 12 gauge unless we can duplicate the load

Winchester feather lite powder. But you may be able to use other powders.Do you have any reloading manuals available?

The powder is WAALite. It is superb for super light loads in the 12ga. Here is the data from Hodgdon Powder. It is a 26 Gram shot payload. Not 1oz and not 7/8 oz. It's in between the two. I have a 1oz bar that drops just over 26 Grams, so it is close enough for the 980 fps load. The following load is for the Winchester Compression Formed and HS 2 3/4" hulls.

Lead Shot 12ga **26 gm. WAALite Win. 209 WAA12SL 12gr 5,600 PSI 980fps
