Like they say just shoot it the test of time will answer all questions. One of the all time best skeet shooters Wayne Mays shot one for years just keep it clean and replace parts as needed all automatics break parts so what just replace and keep going Big Leo shot a 1100 for many years had a big box of parts look what he did with that gun.

I have a1973 1400 that my Dad bought for me. Key to these is keep the gas system
clean! Total disassembly is quite easy..all you need is a screw driver. PM and I'll help you. Mike K
