Winchester 1400 Mk II

I own a Winchester 1400 Mk II. So far it has shot well, and cycled reliably. I was told that these shotguns are notorious for breaking parts and failing to function. Have any of you had these problems? If this is correct, is there preventative maintenance to help minimize breakage and wear (other than the normal cleaning and lube)?

Like they say just shoot it the test of time will answer all questions. One of the all time best skeet shooters Wayne Mays shot one for years just keep it clean and replace parts as needed all automatics break parts so what just replace and keep going Big Leo shot a 1100 for many years had a big box of parts look what he did with that gun.
