Looking for reviews on the new Win/FN 101 Pigeon Grade Trap… The reviews I have found have been very positive especially when considering the cost. However, I have not heard anything about durability. Anybody have any experience with this gun? Thank you.

I hope to shoot several thousand per year. Not sure how plentiful
parts are if something were to need repair... I am really just getting into
the game but have 2 kids that I plan in introducing to shooting sports. I'd
like them to get some use out of it if possible. The plan prior to finding
the 101's was to save up for a B gun and that is probably what I will do.

Well... If you are talking about a current production 101, the parts shouldn't be an issue.Jeff

Yea, I am pondering current production. With my luck I would get one
and then FN would decide to drop the 101 and spare parts would dry up
soon after.

I'll probably just squirrel away some money here and there and get
either a Browning or Beretta. I'm a southpaw so I have a few more hoops
to jump thru to find one to my liking. Also, being able to grope a gun
prior to dropping that kind of cash is a bonus. Good luck finding a new
production 101 on the shelf. I live an hour from Scheels, Cabelas and
Guns Unlimited and they have never seen a new 101 Pigeon Trap.
Thanks.

Buy a left hand gun .... Not a straight stock ... Buy the Browning and stop over thinking it... Get the correct tool for the job... Good luck... Oh if you decide you can't shoot the gun you bought and want to sell it.... Browning will hold the money together and sell quicker than a FN101...
