I would like to know WHY:

The sky is normally BLUE? During the night time hours it is normally DARK? Why was smokeless powder invented? Reason for the invention of the one piece plastic wads? Why were primers invented opposed to using flint?

I just don't understand and want to know WHY!

I want to know who pushed for the plastic wads to replace the fiber wads which worked just fine for years. I bet it was all Neil's fault.

When the sky is blue it is sad - black it is angry.

Smokeless powder - haven't seen they banned smoking pretty much everywhere - even in your barrel.

One piece wads - makes it easier for unskilled labor (i.e., robots) to assemble them.

There was a severe flint shortage, so to make sure there was availability they switched to the ubiquitous and readily available primer.

Roger,

I could answer all of those questions but the answer would not satisfy much. It is the same answer that the man gave when asked WHY he climbed the mountain, " Because it is there ". The sky thing is a j-tad more complicated but not much.

Have a Merry Christmas my friend,
